Big Canoe Real Estate Update

Last year’s Real Estate in Big Canoe showed 92 homes sold. This year the number will probably be 75. There are currently 263 homes on the Market in Big Canoe. Big Canoe Real Estate including lots and homes while slowing down in sales still remain a good value. The average sales price is 15 -25 percent less than 2 years ago. Big Canoe Real Estate as it relates to lots show few sales. This is due in large part to the great hoime values currently in the Big Canoe Real Estate MarketThe good news is Big Canoe is financially strong and a great place to live. So if you have ever been to Big Canoe and went wow I wish I could live here now you can. Home prices for good 3 bed room 2 bath homes start in the 200′s. However there are bargains from time to time in the high 100,000′s Prices top out at 2.8 million.

A great Terraces Season closes in Big Canoe

The Terraces season ended last Saturday night in Big Canoe. This summer we had 9 concerts and each one of them was fun and different. We ended the season in this great open air venue with The Atlanta Dixie Land Band. We had rock and roll, a mini symphony, Banks and Shane, and a host of different musicians and music. But now the Theater is empty.

You can get an idea of the beauty and the size of the venue from the picture above above and the picture below.

The chairs are empty and the theater is now quiet. The theater held about 1,000 folks when full and rocking. All Mountain Realty was proud to be one of the sponsors this season. I worked all 9 events parking cars and had fun with the party goers all season.

Big Canoe is a great Mountain destination and a wonderful place to live. The Terraces is just one of the many things that draw people to our great community. I think the picture below says it best for this concert season.

Big Canoe Resident stops by to say Hello

Big Canoe is often about the unexpected. I was working this morning and was lucky enough to bein the right place at the right time. This young person walked up our back stairs and found his way to the back deck. This one is about a year old and just a great sight to see.

The Photo above is him backing down the stairs after he saw me. Thing you want a natural experience and not a gated community. Think again. A large crowd at the Terraces in Big Canoe was treated to an evening of great vocals. The popular Holmes family trio took the stage to the delight of all. This concert was more about Gospel and Blues. It was a great concert . The Terraces at Big Canoe are part of the Big Canoe Chapel. This summer the entertainment has been great and the Terraces committee is to be commended on a super job. Big Canoe provides a great mountain life style. The Terraces concert series is just one of the many things that make Big Canoe , in my opinion, one of the premier Mountain locations any where. Big Canoe hosts Live Bait Band at Terraces

A great crowd turn out

The third event in the Big Canoe Terraces concert series was another great success. The featured group for this concert was the Live Bait Band. They are a Jimmy Buffet tribute band. They played Buffet, Reggae, and a great selection of oldies.

The band was dressed for the beach. They had the crowd doing the shark as you can see in the photo above.

The Terraces is a great out door amphitheater. You can see by this photo that we had a full house. The concert continued after dark and folks were on the floor dancing by the middle of the show.
